The camera was working overtime at the Regionals in June. We took a ton of photos, and we hope you enjoy them!
First, the players...
Then of course, the coaches...
The spectators...
There were also some sleepers...
Speaking of sleepers, this guy won the Schon cue last year...
And this guy won it this year!
It's hard to keep score with someone constantly looking over your shoulder...
But don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it!
Oh yeah, there were some winners too. Congratulations to Zeros, Innocent Bystanders, and Rack Lovers, our 9-Ball Champions!
Our Ladies Champion is PB&J Girls - Great Job!
And the 8-Ball Champions, Carvin' a Pig Outta Wood, Dream Team, 8-Ball Fanatics, and Odd Shooters!
Now for the feel-good story of the Regionals. Last Fall, the Odd Shooters lost their good friend and teammate, Willie Fujinami. To honor him, they had his name embroidered on their team shirts:
Willie must have been pulling some strings over the weekend. Inspired by his memory, the team lost only one match throughout the tournament! To further honor his memory, the team voted Willie their MVP for the weekend!
