Posted - 01/13/2010 : 12:29:20 AM I learned tonight that a team quit playing on wednesday due to complaints of slow play. I am really sorry that had to happen. Wish there was a better way to handle it. They are a blast to play 9 ball with, and a very great group.. They will be missed, I am glad to see them around on tuesday though. Slow play or not, We would rather play with them, then miss them. I hope they reconsider playing for summer 9 ball. Peace.

Posted - 01/14/2010 : 11:51:50 AM I always find it interesting that an entire team will leave just because of issues with 1 or 2 players. Why not get rid of the problem players and keep the team.
Our league too had 2 teams leave this season because of issues with 1 or 2 players on their teams.
As previously said, "better ways to resolve conflicts than just leaving". |

Posted - 01/14/2010 : 12:08:39 AM To clarify, I want to just say, there are no bad guys here. Just a little problem which could be easily resolved a better way than leaving. Just my 2 cents.

Posted - 01/13/2010 : 2:03:29 PM I feel like i had alot to do with them dropping out on wednesdays and I am TRULY sorry. i too have alot of fun with them especially Mike. I didn't mean to be the "bad guy" and I only did what i felt was needed at the time. I too feel this to be a more drastic solution than required and I hope I am not the cause of it. Mike if you read this please come back and im sure there can can be some sort of compromise. |
