Posted - 09/26/2011 : 1:12:19 PM I just played in the qualifier at Stix Billiards in Rancho Cucamonga this past weekend and had a great time.
I do have to say however that I was very disappointed with some aspects of how the tournament was run. They send you all this information about rules and a dress code, and it sure didn't seem that it was enforced at all.
I saw flip-flop, tank tops with 34DD's hangin out, cargo pants, tennis shoes and probably a whole lot more.
I just wonder WHY???? in an event where there seems to be so much emphasis put on appearance and professionalism, why do they have any damn rules at all if they aren't going to enforce them.
JUST WONDERING????

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 4:43:29 PM I actually did not buy a new pair of shoes.. and I saved another $100 by NOT entering a Qualifier.. cause I finally figured out ..... " I can't beat Jerry Lin".. he wins every year.. he is a VERY good semi PROFESSIONAL and I congratulate him on his continued success.....by the way who had the 34 DD's???.... not my opinion.. just the facts...

Posted - 10/06/2011 : 11:01:03 AM I agree. I played in the tournament last year with my buddy Nathaniel. He actual forgot his dress shoes and we bought a pair the night before. So there wouldn't be an issue. Come to find out that this might as well of been another league night at the bar. The tournament directors lackadaisical attitude towards the entire tournament was extremely unprofessional for the level of play that is expected. Basically the gave the LO for the APA the room and said run a regional qualifier with different rules. There was no one walking the floor to monitor cheating or hits. Therefore i am glad I didn't waste another weekend on Hotel and Time and food for the same BS!!!
