[br]Question: What happens when after the break, there is a foul? Ball in hand player B's turn. The rule applies from the break.

Not contacting 4 balls to a rail is not a foul, cue ball "in the corner pocket" is a foul. Inning recorded.

I would suggest Both player A and player B, not play against each other EVER AGAIN!! just kidding.

Have fun. I hope I helped.

My 1st inclination is the answer would be "no" since the games does not begin until there is a legal break. You should not have innings until both players have actually had a turn at the table in a game...and the "game" has not started until there is a legal break.

Of course if this were not the 1st game of a match then it may be that there is an inning closed in the situation you described.....

Someone correct me if I am wrong though.
