Posted - 09/13/2007 : 10:26:12 AM Embarrassingly enough, I know scarcely little about this. Recently I purchased a vehicle. I now have two. I was planning on keeping my second one, a 1994 Honda Civic EX, as an auxiliary car. However, in the past couple of weeks, I've gotten notes on in from people who say they want to buy it. I'm entertaining the idea, but I don't want to get ripped off either. It has 230,000 miles on it. Runs great. Aesthetically, it's no longer beautiful, but still gets about 35mpg. The only "problems" with it are that the exhaust manifold has a crack so it's a bit noisy when the motor is cold in the morning, and the rear trailing arm bushings are compressed (if you don't plan on racing it, it makes very little difference). Kelly Blue Book says in fair condition the car is worth about 3 grand. That seems high to me, but like I said, I don't want to get hornswoggled. Does anyone have any input as to what a fair purchase price would be for the car?

Posted - 09/13/2007 : 5:35:49 PM I would say that you should post it for what it is worth to you to have a second vehicle on free sites, and put a for sale sign on it and if you dont get any takers then think about lowering it.
