Posted - 09/07/2005 : 06:42:01 AM The donations can come in anytime in the next couple days its just the only donations that Nestle will match are going to be the ones that come in on Friday the 9th. As for a good contact time, the "NVBIY" that is putting this fundraiser on with 23 other kids around the nation is my little brother. I do know that he is at school a good portion of the day so if you would like to reach him you can call him at 805-584-1852 usually between 3pm and 8pm. If that is not a good time for you though you can email him or you can call me, Dani, at 805-297-5763.
I was telling some of my friends about this recently and they wanted to donate to the Red Cross but didn't know what organization to go through. There are a lot of organizations out there that have their fees and such. The Nestle Corp. and the "NVBIY" are holding this non-fee fundraiser meaning everything you donate is going to go to the Red Cross. The only difference in sending it to the Red Cross directly is the donation is going to be matched by Nestle Corp in this fundraiser. This, is going to double your money.
In example: If someone donates $0.50 Nestle will match that and your $0.50 is now a $1.00 and if 15 people donate $0.50 that means an infant will have formula.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to call any of the numbers or email my brother and we will answer the questions for you. |
