Also the letter that we received says that skill levels will be frozen on Sept. 15th. Can one's skill level change between matches once play begins?

Posted - 09/08/2005 : 3:26:33 PM Modified Single Format guarantees every team two chances to play. Let's see.....if you win in the first round, you advance to the right and the looser goes left. If you loose on the second round of the winner's side (the right side of the board) you advance to the left side (the loosers side). If you loose anytime after that on the right side (the winners side) you are out. If you loose a match after being bumped to the looser's side, you are out.
The simplest way to explain is the first round of the board is Double Elimination and then it converts to single elemination.
Skill levels are reviewed after every round of play, so YES, skill levels can go up and/or down during the event. |
