Posted - 06/28/2005 : 10:59:27 AM Phil or Taz, I was just reading the flyer about the Oct 2005 9-ball and was wondering if Carol and I want to reserve our spot (3rd player to be decided) can we pay the $90 entry and $60 green fees only then book our own room where ever we wish or do we have take the whole $435 room package?

Posted - 06/28/2005 : 2:34:49 PM In order for us to get the space in the convention center, we have to guarantee the Riviera that we'll book a certain number of room-nights. The only way we can make that guarantee is to require each SWC team to book at least one room for three nights. If your team wants more than one room you don't have to get the others through us. The only teams that don't have to book a room are the ones from Las Vegas.
BTW, $95 (including tax and surcharge) is a great rate for that time of year. Unless you have a connection through the slot club or something, the normal rate for double occupancy is $124 PLUS tax and surcharge, or $140. The SWC room rates are good for up to four people, and the normal rate for that is $164 plus tax and surcharge, or $183.
