How does one in our area get qualified to play in that tourney? When is the next one? I looked on the APA website and couldn't see any information regarding it.

The entry window for the U.S. Amateur opens April 1. Right now poolplayers.com still has 2005 info, but it will be updated by the time the window opens. All you do to enter is fill out the entry form. I believe the APA mails an entry form to every active 6 or 7 in the country. Others have to request the form from us or download it from poolplayers.com.
