Our Annual Captains (and co-captains) tournament will be held on Saturday, July 28 at The Q-Club in Oxnard.

To be eligible, you must have been a captain or co-captain of a team in one of the previous 3 sessions (2006-07). Players who are first time captains (or co-captains) this session are not eligible (yes, we have a list).

This is a singles tournament with a modified race chart using our "slide to 2" scale. The lower skill level players in any match will "slide to 2" and their opponents will slide the same amount. So, if a SL5 plays a SL 7, the race would be 2-4 (the 5 slides down 3; the 7 slides down 3). This always makes for some interesting matches.

The tournament will be double-elimination. On the winner's side we'll play 8-Ball and on the loser's side we'll play 9-Ball. Any captain or co-captain is welcome, regardless of whether you play both formats or just one.

More information will go out next week in the team envelopes.
