Ok so for like the first time EVER it looks like I might make it to top shooter....YeeHaw!!!! When and where will this take place? Are the rules the same as in APA or are the special rules? Where can I get a copy of these rules if they are diffrent?

Thanks!
Dawn Morgan

The only list that counts is the one following the last week of the regular session. All of your questions apply equally as well to the second-to-last week as they do to the last week. In fact, they apply to week (n-1) whenever they apply to week (n), so the only possible solutions (by induction) are to (a)invite only those in first after the final week, or (b)invite everyone. Inviting everyone is impractical, as we'd never be able to finish the tournament, so the only practical solution is the way we do it now.

What happens when somebody goes up in rating after the end of the season and takes over the lead in the new tier for mvp. I think that the person who was leading that tier should have a portion of the claim to that mvp. The reason why I am bringing this up is because I have seen this type of thing happen or at least come close. I was leading the middle tier and moved up to a 6 and almost took the high tier which I think would not have been fair to the person who played at that level the whole season. I have also seen some 3s move to 4s and by some a little late and take mvp for the middle tier. My question is what happens in these situations to the players who get taken out of thier possition by either moving up a tier in the last week and also what happens to those who are taken down by others moving up in the last week.

Our Summer Session MVP Tournaments are scheduled for the weekend of September 29-30. They will take place at PJ's Pub in Thousand Oaks. All participants will be mailed a postcard with the exact date & time of play for their respective tiers & format. These are single competition tournaments, so there are no time-outs (no coaching). All APA rules are in effect.
