Posted - 01/26/2009 : 4:49:42 PM Actually Derrick, there were multiple winners. The top 8 out of each tournament (8-Ball & 9-Ball) become qualified for the South Coast Championships, which makes them all winners. The total purse for the Tournament of Champions is $16,000. The 4 teams who lose in the final round (the tournament is played down to 4 teams, not one) each receive $600 and the winners each receive $1,400 for their efforts. |

No, unfortunately I seem to always fall short. I just know several people who were on those teams and my son Eddie was there most of the time watching and cheering for them both.
Keep in mind that this info is "unofficial and based on my son's stories to me afterwards" "Don't want to step on league toes!"
