I have reviewed the manuals for timeouts for per skill levels for 8-ball and 9-ball. There is a brief mention of it for 9-ball. Can someone clue me in so I know how to assist my teammates. |

The Official APA Team Manual states (The 9-Ball League, page 65) Except as specifically indicated in this section and as common sense would dictate, all of the information contained in this manual also applies to the 9-Ball League. Please refer to pages 25-26 of the APA Official Team Manual. If your question is not covered in that section, you'll need to be more specific. |

I was looking for the number of times outs alloted. I believe in 8-ball SL4 and above are allowed 1 timeout per game and under SL4 are allowed 2 timeouts. I also heard that "newly" signed up SL4's are allowed 2 timeouts (is that true?). Does my understanding of the number of timeouts apply as well to 9-ball?
Thanks Taz.

This information can be found in your APA Manual on page 25, section "11. Coaching", subsection B.

Thanks Gill. Found it. I must of read the manual 3 times and doing a "search" on timeouts. And it is there in plain sight.

Players with a skill level 4 or higher are alloted one time-out per game. Lower skill level players get 2. Non-rated players (this is where the confusion comes in -- males start as if though they were a four, when in actuality they are non-rated or a zero) get 2 time-outs. |
