I understand if a team wins their Division twice in one year, they are qualified for Team Regionals.
What if a team (in a league of 12 or more teams) wins playoffs twice in one year? Does this team qualify for Team Regionals?
What if this Division no longer has 12 team, but they still won the playoffs twice while there were 12 teams?

Hmmm....someone really needs to read their Local Bylaws.
You are incorrect. The normal way a team qualifies for the South Coast Championships (aka Team Regionals) is to finish in the top 8 of any Tournament of Champions (Summer, Fall & Spring sessions). In the Spring, it's the top 16 in 8-Ball. If we need more teams for the South Coast Championships (due to teams that could lose their qualification), we qualify more from the Spring TOC.
If a qualified team re-qualifies in a subsequent TOC, we go back to the division they played in and qualify the highest-finishing non-qualified team from the end of the regular session.

8. South Coast Championships (Local Team Championships) The South Coast Championships are held after the Spring Session Tournament of Champions. The South Coast Championships consist of single-elimination, eight-team brackets, with the winner of each bracket advancing to the APA National Team Championships.
Teams qualify for the South Coast Championships by finishing in the top eight of any Tournament of Champions. From the Spring Session Tournament of Champions, additional teams will qualify if necessary to fill the brackets in the South Coast Championships.
If a team qualifies for the South Coast Championships and that team is already qualified, the team will re-qualify and all members will gain originality (see the Team Manual for the meaning of originality). In addition, the highest-ranking team from the same division (based on division standings at the end of the regular session) that is not yet qualified will become qualified. |
