Five South Coast players became National Finalists yesterday at the singles regional held at Butera's Billiards in Moorpark. Congratulations to Sue Peden, Kevin Pham, and Richard Haydt, who all qualified in 8-Ball, and to Maria Ritner and Job Kraft, who won their respective 9-Ball brackets.
The five players will join Jerry Lin at Nationals, who qualified for both 8-Ball and 9-Ball at the Fall regional last October.
The regional at Butera's had a field of 64 players, about half from our area and half from San Bernardino. Of the 64, only six advanced to Nationals. Five out of six, pretty good showing for us!
If you see any of our National Finalists on league night or any other time, be sure to congratulate them and wish them luck next month at Nationals!
