Ok this is a new idea wonder if it has been tried... If u have over 100 matches played in the APA your SL for that season shouldn't be able to be adjusted until the following season. There are so many instances where the LO or the apa computer moves your SL up destroying your team 1 week before playoffs or SWC ... Why not have your record evaluated and play once a session instead of week by week...

Thoughts?

What if your shooting terrible and your SL was to go down. I agree it sucks when it goes up at an inopportune time, but it sure is nice if it goes down.

If I disagree with you, it is because I am right.

What's really funny is when you move up and another person on your team moves down. This happened to my team between week 1 and 2 of playoffs this season.

Remember the person you have to impress the most is the one you sleep with every night.

Correction - make that two matches in three sessions. One of the sessions doesn't count, though, since you didn't play any matches in that one. If you want to go back three sessions in which you played, it's four wins. If you go back a little farther, there's an eight-match winning streak there, plus a good win in a tournament. All of this comprises fewer than thirty matches total, and if you count them it was 13 wins, almost 50%, and a couple of good scores in some losses. What was that you were just sayin?

I'm still trying to figure out how it took forever for me to go from a 4 to a 5, but it took less then a season for me to go from a 5 to a 6 which just so happened to be right as we were going into playoffs. Also, the Handicap Advisory Committee are the ones who moved me from a 4 to a 5 and not the handicap equalization formula. Just curious

See, the HAC saw something in you, and they must have been right! And it was one session on two teams, playing every week on both, and hardly ever losing a match (16-4 combined last session as a 5). But how cool is it that you went up to a 6 in both 8-Ball and 9-Ball at pretty much the same time?

You are a perfect example of the value of the handicap advisory committee. They gave you the nudge you needed and you did the rest!

You may be right, but if it weren't for the HAC I may still be a 4 which would be much better

LOL. Many players seem to "forget" that the HAC (Handicap Advisory Committe) IS an integral part of The Equalizer, or as described above, the "handicap equalization formula".

It doesn't really bother me at all. Now I get to play more for my money. I just wanted to add to the conversation cause I was one of those people moved up right before playoffs.
