Counting the boards run this past weekend, and assuming everyone sends in their fees this week, we have enough qualified players to hold a National Qualifier in the 8-Ball 4-5 tier and advance yet one more South Coast APA player to the 2007 Singles National Championships (bypassing the need for a Singles Regional). Start looking at your calendars and try to clear Saturday, December 2 (alternate date Saturday, December 9). I'll be calling everyone next week.
The Annual LAST CHANCE TO QUALIFY boards will be held, as usual, Thanksgiving weekend. Saturday, November 25 at The Mix and Sunday, November 26 at PJ's Pub. Mark those dates down. The qualifying window closes at the end of November.
UPDATE
8-Ball SL 2-3 we have 10 qualified players. Only 6 more needed to hold a National Qualifier.
8-Ball 6-7 we have 12 qualified players. Only 4 more and we can hold a National Qualifier.
9-Ball 1-3 we have 14 qualified players. We only need 2 more.
9-Ball 4-5 we have 7. Don't know if we'll fill thise one, but we can sure try.
9-Ball 6-7 we have 5. This one will be tough to fill, and those who are qualified will most likely advance to Spring Singles Regional in March.
If we do not fill a tier and cannot hold a National Qualifier, those player who have qualified will compete in the 2007 Spring Singles Regional the first weekend in March. Location has not yet been determined (though there is a very good chance that it will be at The Mix).

| I know it's short notice, but if we can arrange the 8-Ball SL 4-5 National Qualifier for Saturday, November 18, that would free up 15 of those players (all but the winner) to qualify again on Nov. 25-26. I'll start those calls today and see if we can make it happen. |
