I think it would be interesting to know what different occupations APA players have and which lend themselves to the game the best . So for your first question , what occupation would you have been involved in if you were not involved in pro pool ?
Well, in addition to playing pool on the WPBA tour, I actually do maintain a full time job with Dole Packaged Foods. In the past ten years or so...the jobs that I have held have all been accounting related.
But...if you are asking what I think I would have LIKED to do if I hadn't become a pro player, then I have a few answers...some whimsical, some not.
I've taken up golf as a hobby in the past year...and I think I would've loved to be a pro golfer. Also, I can't dance, but I absolutely love watching all the dancing reality shows. So if I could wake up tomorrow with dance talent...that would be my #1 pick. I wanted to be a vet or an astronaut when I was little.
All in all, there are so many things that I think I'd be happy doing. Everything interests me...and I love to learn. I think it'd be fun to learn to build something, to work on cars, to be a nurse or doctor, to be a radio personality, to coordinate charity events...you name it and I'd probably have fun getting involved :)
