Great shooting Melissa!!!! It was great to watch how you stayed with your game and "in the game" when it counted. The unfortunate foul on the 3 was tough. You played yourself proud. I have to say though that the color of the felt was awful, at least it showed that way on the tube. (a horrid yellow ... which was probably tan). Hope that your game gets you back in some TV rounds again soon.

It was actually tan...but the yellow tint on your screen is a sure sign that you might need to adjust the color on your TV

Thanks for watching. You must be a dedicated pool fan to get up at 7 am to watch a match from 2004...LOL. (You probably tivo'd or taped it...but don't spoil my fun. I prefer to believe you dragged your butt out of bed to watch!)

Now regarding that 3-ball "foul"...I still maintain that I got robbed. I don't care that they went back and slo-mo replayed like 10 times to figure it out...I believe it was a split-hit. The tournament director will admit to this day that he probably owes me one. He won't say that he made a bad call...but he will say that he could've called it a good hit and people wouldn't have argued.

That "foul" really took the wind out of my sails in that match...and that was a learning experience. When you suffer a setback, you can't give up and feel sorry for yourself...you have to march on and still try to play to the best of your ability.
