Some of you may find this entertaining based on previous banter. Others may wonder why we bother. But anyway, after a long wait, the Nathaniel Hunnicutt / Torsten Sporn rivalry finally began.
Nathaniel roared to a 3-0 lead and looked to be in good shape.
I roared back to tie the game at 3-3. We exchanged glares and nearby, a table randomly burst into flames. Neither of us have mastered our Drew Barrymore as that creepy young chick who could immolate things by merely looking at them in that old Steven King movie thing.
Nathaniel then surged to lead 4-3 and said something about being Inigo Montoya and how I should prepare to die. I clawed my way back to 4-4 and introduced my two sons as Walker and Texas Ranger.
The final frame went back and forth a couple of times. Both of us had an opportunity. Alas, it was Nathaniel who took advantage first, and was able to finish with a 5-4 win.
It was certainly enjoyable and thrilling, as I expected, even though I certainly would have preferred to come out ahead. Nonetheless, there's no shame in getting beaten by a gentleman and a sportsman. At least, that's what I was telling myself as I keyed his car.
I think the worst time to have a heart attack would be during a game of charades... or during a game of fake heart attack. |

As expected a fun time was had by all. Nice write up Torsten
Isn't the object to make the object ball? But yes you are right the leave would be awesome if it was your shot. |

You know, Nathaniel threatened me with all kinds of trash talk on the site here should he be victorious in our match. Victorious he certainly was, yet I've not seen nor heard a peep. In some strange way, it's almost... disappointing. :p

1st!!!
Torsten, now that was a hell of a write up! Thank you for giving such a realistic illustration to the people that didn't get chance to see the most awesome match played in 2009. It sure lived up to the hype! Next time we should probably put on our drinking shoes to see how that one plays out... should be just as interesting  My ability to detail the events wouldn’t have done it justice, so thank you for taking the lead... despite my promise to talk some trash ;) I really enjoyed myself. You've got a great team that has top notch sportsmen. Win or lose everyone seemed to have a good time... last time I checked, that’s what we all signed up for.

If you would like to create your own Topic entitled “How I almost beat Mr. Hunnicutt” that will be acceptable ;) … Good luck to you tonight brother!!! You’re going to need it ;) I have full intentions of going to the top shooters tourney this year. But by all means, come and stop me.
And about you’re prediction… let’s just wait for tomorrow’s results before I go into that one.

Nat whooped up on 7 last night 4-2 and early 8 in one of the games! GJ brother GL w/ Top Shooter u may take my 7 points and shove them where the sun dont shine!!!

Nat played great once again proving the APA HANDIE CAP system is falling to catch up with certain players....I think the SL evaluation Form should be used on Mr. Nathaniel... So i encourage you... even if your not playing Nat go ahead write him up ...lets help him get the gol of a 7 then i want a rematch !!!!

Well D-Rack... I guess you will have to wait till the next time to get your revenge. It was a good match though brother, but you shouldn't have got me THAT drunk ;) lol, I think you were a lil off on your prediction yesterday. What did you say 5-1... yeah
It's always a good time when we battle brother! I can't wait for the rematch. You seem to do a lot better when you're pissed off! Hahahaha, looks like I've got bragging rights for at least a few months.
