So last night during my first shot, I positioned myself with my left hand around the corner pocket, made my shot with my cue in my right hand, immediately after the shot I pulled my cue back and also pulled my hand back to step away from the table.
My ring finger got caught on the pocket and sort of "ripped" down my finger. Luckily I didn't break the skin. It hurt though. I then noticed the diamond in my ring was gone.
The impact of my finger catching the pocket, dislodged the diamond. Fortunately I was able to find it on the ground. Thankfully it didn't fall into the pocket.
Learned my lesson. Never wear jewelry while shooting pool. |
