The dates are set. The 2008 Southwest Challenge (8-Ball) will be held March 27-30. Play will begin on Friday morning (March 28) with the semis and finals held on Sunday morning (March 30). Hotel rates have increased, but we are working with The Riviera to keep the package prize at $450.
Don't forget....it's never too early to turn in a deposit and secure your slot. Feel free to send partial payments ($10-20 a week) and we'll set up an account for you. It is my hope that with this added service more players/teams will be able to afford to join in on the fun.
Maximum field is 256 teams. Last year's event featured 254 teams. Don't wait too long and get left out!
Nancy - we'll have the dates upon our return from Regional Meetings, scheduled for October 27-28. As soon as the dates are confirmed, I will post them.
Eric - the deadline to sign up is one month prior to the actual event, so until I confirmed the event dates, I cannot be more specific.
