| UPDATE -- The tournament is down to the last eight, and three are from South Coast!!!! Could this be the year South Coast reclaims the title/trophy? Will let you know later. |

The 2008 Southwest 9-Ball Challenge Champion is.....
South Coast #8, team members Nick Adams, Kevin Bradley & Chris Stevens from Ojai.
Runner-up, South Coast #3, team members Jenn Kadin, Matt Munowitch & Ed Poplet from Thousand Oaks. |

Finally! We are back! Now we need to repeat it. We need more folks from SouthCoast to represent! I'm pretty proud considering there were many more San Diego Teams. It was cool to hear that 3 SouthCoast teams made it to the semi-finals.

Not quite the semifinals. We had three in the quarterfinals. South Coast #2, Annie Claborn, Alan Jenkins, and John Hill from the Foothill area finished in fifth place.
We had three other teams finish in the money as well. The team of Ron Sheets, Pam Sheets, and Sharry Watts from Ojai finished ninth. Nancy McKinney, Danny Manis, and Jack Swisher from Camarillo finished seventeenth, as did Oscar Rozsa, Edith Rozsa, and Lucas Mahan from Van Nuys.
